Advantech’s iPS-M100 system is lightweight and features a fanless cooling mechanism that protects against water and dust ingress to thereby extend the product lifecycle. The provision of hot-swappable capabilities enables care providers to replace the battery without turning off the device, greatly reducing interruptions and system downtime. The system can also be integrated with an optional battery charging station to ensure reliable 24-hour power supply. Moreover, aimed at the medical industry and healthcare market, iPS-M100 has achieved an IP67 rating and is certified to IEC 60601-1-2 and IEC 60601-1 compliance medical safety standards to ensure reliable and safe operation in critical environments, such as operating rooms and intensive care units, where hygiene control is a strategic priority.

Medical information systems and healthcare devices require a reliable power supply to support mobile operation. iPS-M100 is a medical-grade intelligent power system designed to be integrated with a range of mobile healthcare devices. The entire system comprises two power modules and one adaptor and weighs only 9.3 kg (with each power module weighing less than 2 kg), ensuring easy maintenance and replacement.

 

 

iPS-M100 can support a range of mobile care devices and be remotely controlled using AMiS_Link.

Hot-Swappable Lithium-Ion Batteries for Easy Maintenance 

To ensure a reliable and consistent supply of high output power, Advantech’s iPS-M100 system features dual hot-swappable lithium-ion battery modules. The hot-swappable module design allows the battery to be replaced without turning off the device, greatly reducing system downtime. Lithium-ion batteries offer a safe power supply and extended product lifecycle with minimal maintenance, making iPS-M100 the ideal solution for mobile medical devices.

Supports Integration with Diverse Devices and Software Platforms 

To mobilize the provision of healthcare, iPS-M100 can be installed on medical carts to power vital sign measurement machines, blood pressure monitoring devices, and other healthcare equipment. However, iPS-M100 can also be integrated with diverse software platforms, such as Advantech’s AMiS_Link intelligent power management software, to further extend a hospital’s power management capabilities. Developed to enhance mobile power management, AMiS_Link not only features diverse battery management functions, such as low battery alarm notification, battery temperature monitoring, and charge/discharge cycle management, but also supports constant connectivity to enable instant communication and remote monitoring and management for more effective, timely operations.
